About

img_0028.jpgArtist, designer, gallery owner, mother, teacher.

I am an artist, working in textile design for fashion and home accessories.    I am a wife( to my best friend Steve) and mother of two amazing sons Z and J.  I am also a teacher (home schooling my sons) as well as art instructor at RSA.  I love to work with my hands and create items that  showcase  personal style and vision.  Influenced by natural, people, and  life-beyond trends in the studio I mix vibrant design with vintage charm, to create products that are functional as well as beautiful.  I am trying to  live a creative sustainable life with my family.

Using new and rescued fabrics and reclaimed wood we create a wholesale line of fashion and home accessories.  By over dyeing and/or printing we create our own unique items from new and used materials.  Scarves, wraps, handbags, pillows, wood tiles, display/serving trays are included in our current product line.

All products are made in our family studio, in Virginia, USA.

I am always interested in Art but don’t find the time to dabble in it at all. Passing by your blog is just one way – beautiful crafts and pictures, the kind of life I would lead if I’m not holding a full time job that I also love, but just takes up all my time. Good luck! and enjoy your work!

Hi, my name is Sabrina, an artist too. My company is Amazing Photo Letters. I notice you on BMAC FB page and came over to meet you!! Love your work!! I hope to learn more about wholesaling. Could you share your experiences!! I was scheduled to attend my first whoelsale show with BMAC, and they knocked me out (literally and emotionally) at the last minute, due to a manager getting sick and not processing my paperwork. So, now I am reaching out to others in the industry to find mentors, and start a possible collaboration of sorts…to promote Crafters/artists work in stores. I work art and craft shows every weekend, and am getting burned out. I was soooo ready to wholesaling. But am I!!?? hehehe
